Get A Win
As a wedding expo exhibitor, you have to work your booth to make your booth work for you. That is to say, you have to work your booth with a purpose. You have to plan for success. To sum up, you have to show up ready to win.

Wedding Expo Exhibitor Do's and Don'ts
I recently had the opportunity to join Brandee Gaar on her morning Clubhouse “The Morning Show for Wedding Pros” room. The topic was How to Win with Bridal Shows. During this conversation we discussed the Do’s and Don’ts of Wedding Expo Exhibitors. If you weren’t able to join us in the Clubhouse room, I have compiled this easy list to help you get a win at your next bridal show.
12 Tips For Success
- Do take a photo of yourself and your team in your booth. This will be visual recognition for your after show follow-up.
- Don't be on your phone or device. Do keep your head up, be engaging and make eye contact.
- Don't have an RBF. Yes, I said that. Be approachable. That is to say, smile! You are there to grow your business - Be Happy!
- Don't walk away from your booth. Always have your booth staffed. A missing person will turn clients away.
- Do wear comfortable shoes. Cranky feet equals cranky face (remember No RBF).
- Do pack snacks, food, water, sugar. Shows often run through lunch and dinner. No one wants to buy from a hangry person.
- Do collect leads in your booth. Including specific details about person, wedding, life. This will give you a specific and personal reason to follow-up after the show. These are your hottest leads.
- Don't show up late. Do show up early, walk around and network with other vendors. Double check your booth, be rested, cool and relaxed.
- Don't breakdown early. Some couples will wait to make their final decision. Don't miss the chance to close a sale.
- If possible, don't sit down. Stand and be approachable. Cocktail tables are great for leaning on after a long day on your feet. Add one to your booth.
- Do follow-up immediately with your hot leads. Implement a follow-up strategy for the leads list.
- Most importantly, prepare for your show-up and prepare for your follow-up
