For me that means baking with quality ingredients and giving back. But it took me some time to figure that out. Prior to Feed Your Soul, I was a trader on the American Stock Exchange and was going to law school in the evenings. Life was busy, but it was time to do something more meaningful…something that would give me passion and purpose… and feeding people was close to my heart. So I decided to create a business that would serve as a vehicle to give back. I chose cookies because they make people happy … they’re a timeless treat and they’re so easy to share. Today, we offer a premium line of cookies, bars and other innovative desserts. We take pride in our process, our facility, our team, our products, and our mission to give back. Why should I fundraise?
When you fundraise for the ASPCA, not only are you raising crucial funds to support our life-saving programs and initiatives, but you are also spreading awareness of the ASPCA’s mission to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States. And there is no fundraising minimum—a gift in any amount is much appreciated and goes a long way in helping our animal friends.

Where do donations made through my online fundraising page go?

Wish Upon A Wedding Mission

Wish Upon a Wedding grants weddings and vow renewals to couples facing serious illness or life-altering health circumstances.

Our Story

In 2009 wedding planner Liz Guthrie inspired businesses and wedding industry professionals to get involved. That is to say, she showed them how their donations will help give a deserving couple the wedding of their dreams. These professionals donated their money and services to host a free wedding.  This was born out of Liz’s desire to give back to couples in need. As a result, this one wedding started a movement in the industry. After that, Wish Upon a Wedding was formed.

The original wedding industry founders came together with a vision to give couples and their loved ones a day away from serious illness. Due to health-related circumstances outside of their control, the couples we honor have endured far greater challenges than many of us could possibly imagine. Above all, we we aim to celebrate their love for one another. Today, our board members and local committees have grown to include professionals and partners from a wide range of industries across the United States. Therefore, we are able to grant weddings and vow renewals to deserving couples. In the same vein, we are thankful for the generosity of individual donations. Further, we could not do this without the wedding industry professionals, corporate sponsors and partnerships and volunteers, who donate their services.

40 Years of Floral Finesse

Hello, I’m Lana the owner, creative director and expert floral artist here at Fairbanks Florist. My passion is for all things floral. My artistry allows me to push the boundaries of floral design to create one of a kind pieces of floral art for my clients. One of my favorite aspects of what I do is when I meet my clients and discuss their dream vision for their event. We go through photos, visuals and intense conversation. This enables me to get inside your head and make your dream a reality. All while getting to know YOU.

After 40 years of offering floral finesse in Central Florida, I remain creative and vibrant in my approach to satisfying unique client commissions. Which can range from individual floral expressions to extravagant haute floral designs for Corporate, Charity, Weddings and other social events. I have designed a vast array of events ranging from bohemian chic beach weddings to lavish celebrations. I continuously work with The Waldorf Astoria Orlando, The Four Seasons Resort Orlando, The Ritz Carlton Orlando, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and Dr. Philips Performing Arts Center, to name a few. Fairbanks Florist is the “preferred floral partner” for the prestigious boutique hotel, The Alfond Inn, in Winter Park, Florida. On a personal note…

My center and balance to my passion for flowers finds me spending time with my precious family and my Grandson’s Parker and Brody! Growing up on the beach, I still love having my toes in the sand and my face in the sun. My husband Art and I live happily with five cats, we love going to the movies or hanging out with our wonderful friends. I live in gratitude and joy and that flows into everything surrounding my life. Yes, you could easily say I am a flower child… one who absolutely loves a magical cookie and great cup of coffee!

Beverage Burros

If you want a truly unique experience to add to your wedding, schedule one of our amazing burros to be a part of your special day. Our well-trained burros will arrive outfitted with their packs ready to deliver beverages during your cocktail hour. They love to hang out with guests and take selfies! Additionally you can include them in your bridal pictures, have them participate in your ceremony and act as the ring bearer. *Beverages and ice are not included and must be provided by the bar upon arrival.

Wedding Llamas

There is nothing more intriguing than adding a pair of llamas or alpacas to join you on your special day. When you invite our llamas and alpacas to your wedding, they arrive clean and ready to make it amazing. They are happy to participate in your ceremony, pose for your bridal photos, hang out with your guests and even help your bartender deliver beverages. Each llama is very used to working in crowds and is happy to arrive dressed with wedding accessories.

Matrimonial Zoos

Simply adding a petting zoo to your wedding day will make it unforgettable. Our clean, well-socialized petting farm animals are great a option to entertain guests and small children during your cocktail hour. All of our animals are used to being help and love posing for photos.
