I DOs & BREWS is our wedding planning date night. In other words, it is a way for couples to plan their weddings and meet vendors outside of the traditional ballroom style wedding expo. We love traditional wedding shows, but I DOs and BREWS give a unique spin. For instance, including an outdoor element. Having this outdoor space means we can easily include wedding vendors like Beautiful Creatures Animal Ranch. They bring the cuteness factor to your wedding. For example, a beverage burrow (his name is Strings) and llamas.
In addition, this open outdoor space also allows us to showcase mobile wedding vendors. For instance, LUXE FLUSH – luxury A/C and heated mobile restrooms. Similarly, Bow Tie Spirits, a mobile bar built out of a horse trailer. Typically these types of mobile vendors don’t bring their vehicles into traditional ballroom wedding expos. Similarly, Orlando Photo Bus. This 1971 VW Bay Window Bus, Lulu, is The Original Orlando Photo Bus!
Above all, I DOs and BREWS includes local breweries. In the last decade, breweries have skyrocketed in Florida. We partnered with the 2nd oldest brewery in Central Florida for this event – Hourglass Brewing. The November 19th I DOs and BREWS was hosted at the Longwood location. With a 240 seat tap room, an in-house scavenger hunt and geek culture galore, it’s a must see brewery. Hourglass is known for only using natural ingredients in its 340 brews. In addition, you can see the brewing process through the glass. Furthermore, they have a DOG friendly patio! To top it all off, Hourglass created the I DO BREW, a citrusy ale.
Hourglass Brewery also has a private event space. Sourglass Brewing is right next door. This is the fermentation House. It is adorned with wooden barrels, additional seating, a bar and market lights. It is perfect for smaller wedding receptions, micro-weddings and bridal showers. So grab a glass of I DO BREW and check out Sourglass for your next event.
Couples can expect to sample an array of beverage options at I DOs and BREWS. Similarly to the Brew Partners, we also work with wine partners. For instance, Silk Road Wines is a veteran owned company, specializing in natural red and white wines. They are imported from the country of Georgia, which is believed to be the birthplace of wine.
Similarly, is PRP Wine. They bring the wine to you with in-home sampling services. To sum it up, they bring the look and feel of the wineries they represent right to your doorstep.
With any I Said Yes! FL event, we bring you the best of the best. Our event sponsors know how to create an atmosphere like no other. Cheers to our I DOs and BREWS Sponsors.
First, Live Happy Studio , our photography sponsor. We have worked with Lindsay & Kellie on several events. Their energy matches everything I DOs and BREWS is about!
Second, couples were greeted with Kendra Scott bags to gather all their swag at the event.
Third, Let there be light. Get Lit Productions lit up the night with the market lights outside of Hourglass Brewing. Get Lit Productions provides all your event lighting needs. From chandeliers, spot lights, twinkle lights and market lights to something you just dreamed up.
What’s a party without a DJ? I DOs and BREWS brings you two! With inside and outside event space, our team wants you to be entertained no matter where you are.
DJ Yves Entertainment set up inside the Hourglass tap room! Need a DJ who can spin and MC, then DJ Yves is your man!
Outside, Press Play Entertainment kept the party atmosphere going with two DJ’s. Orlando & Rey have decades of experience between them and these guys will keep your guests on the dance floor all night.
Find more amazing Florida wedding vendors at I Said Yes! FL
We are starting a new blog series on Florida Wedding Venues. Tour a new venue with us in each post. Learn about the different processes involved in looking for and booking a wedding venue. Gather information on available options, policies and innovations. Today’s post will discuss catering minimums and Planet Hollywood, Disney Springs.
When you announce your engagement, everyone asks the same question. When is the big day?
Securing the wedding venue is the first step to setting the date. If your heart is set on a particular date, but your favorite venue isn’t available, you have some hard decisions to make. Do I choose the venue or the date?
There are a few things to question when searching for your venue.
Start with, what is your catering minimum? When it comes to this catering conundrum, there are three different types of venue catering options.
First, there are venues with in-house catering. However, they may give you the option to secure an outside catering company. Typically, but not in all cases, a caterer must be on the venue preferred list. These are vendors which meet the standards and guidelines set forth by the wedding venue.
Second, some venues have only one option. To use their in-house catering. This is an important consideration if you have already set your appetite on a particular catering service.
Third, there are venues with no in-house catering and no preferred vendor list. Allowing you to freely choose your caterer.
Regardless of the option available at your venue. Make sure you ask any potential wedding venue if they have a “minimum spend”. You also need to know what services count toward that minimum. This is where the catering minimum comes in.
It is vital that you ask about their catering minimum before you sign anything. Many couples secure a wedding venue based off the actual space rental fee and forget to ask what the catering minimum is. After you have signed a contract, you don’t want to discover that your venue has a catering minimum of $15,000. What if your wedding is only 50 guests? Now you are locked into a catering minimum that is larger than your entire wedding budget.
Every wedding venue has different minimums, requirements and policies.
For example let’s look at Florida Wedding Venue, Planet Hollywood Disney Springs. They fall under the second type of venue above. They require couples to use their in-house catering.
Additionally, venues like Planet Hollywood offer multiple options. For instance, they do have catering minimums, but it does not apply to every event. You can have your wedding reception or rehearsal dinner in one of several different spaces with-in the venue. Some of these space do not have a catering minimum unless you require the entire floor or terrace for your wedding. This is incredible for a venue located right in the heart of Disney Springs.
One option is to rent out their space called Stargazers. This area is their patio on the left hand side of the entrance. The minimum in that space is $2,500!
Stargazers is fantastic because they can fit a DJ, cocktail tables and round tables in this space. With the $2,500 catering minimum, you will have the entire area for your private event.
Planet Hollywood’s upstairs patio, and several indoor spaces have been featured in the photos in this blog. These images came from a recent private event we hosted. They created a unique experience for all of our guests that was out of this world.

We are so excited to share with you this behind the scenes look at our recent I Said Yes! FL Wedding Magazine cover shoot. A group of really talented Central Florida wedding experts came together and made some beautiful art to grace our cover.
The location: The Maitland Art Center, Maitland’s own National Historic Landmark. The Art Center is one of the few surviving examples of “Mayan Revival” or fantasy architecture in the Southeast. In turn it is one of the main reasons it was named the first National Historic Landmark in the four-county area of Central Florida.
Amanda with For The Love of Events partnered with the photo and video team PB & J Studios. They worked closely to come up with the theme for this Summer/Fall wedding magazine cover shoot.
“The team was looking for an edgy boho concept, which is how the Art & History Museum came into the mix as our venue of choice.” said Amanda
Working with All Brides 2 Be to dress the brides and grooms was important to Amanda. They offer a one stop shop for wedding gowns and men’s attire. As well as size appropriate options that look beautiful on all types of brides.
Add in Laura Reynolds Artistry team of hair and make up experts and you’ve got a group of happy models.
To portray an edgier vibe the talented vendors involved incorporated specific elements that fit the look.
The colored floral from In Bloom Florist brought depth and beauty to the design. Additionally, the darker tablescape pieces from EventWorks added the perfect touches.
Morgan Hunter Desserts was able to match the design of the cake to the floral with ease. Cake designers are true artists!
The stationary and signage from Tortoise Designs provided a fun balance. The adorable earrings provided from Honeymoon Clay Co are perfect for any edgy bride on her wedding day.

How do we pull off our wedding planning events? With the help of our amazing wedding show sponsors! And we’d love to introduce you to them.
First, we have the Hilton Orlando (I-Drive), our wedding show host venue. The Hilton Orlando hosted our most recent show within their Orlando Ballroom. This resort features four on-site restaurants, two pools, a lazy river and 236,000 square feet of incredible indoor and outdoor venue options.
Additionally, they cater to Indian weddings and celebrations that respect and showcase cultural traditions and customs.
Before our I Said Yes! wedding show even began, we hosted a virtual event for those tuning in from home. Omarvelous Productions produced this live event for us so that we were able to speak with and interview 30+ wedding show vendors.
And guess what? They can live stream your wedding day! Include those friends and family who can’t travel to be with you on your big day and those who prefer to tune in from home. In addition, Omarvelous Productions can provide slow-motion photo booths to capture your big day in a unique and fun way.
Tasked with creating a ” talk show” sitting room set up was Runway Events. Our wedding pro interviews were cozy and beautiful with their wedding furniture rentals and décor. They created a boho chic cottage vibe with fall seasonal touches, including lavender-blush velvet chairs and a sweetheart chaise lounge, coffee table and white cream pumpkins.
Runway Events is an edgy wedding planning company, which can provide boutique rentals and design as well as produce wedding florals for your special day.
Whether you joined us recently, you’ve joined us in the past or plan on attending our next shows, you know or will soon find out, that all the wedding experts you meet are showcasing with us from their “show booths.”

The gowns on our runway were from Something New Bridal Boutique. They literally had every look, hue and vibe you could imagine: ballgowns, mermaid, A-Line dresses and more! They also showcased their tiaras, crowns and other glam accessories. Something New Bridal Boutique prides itself on carrying unique wedding dresses for everyone and providing a VIP experience for every bride who walks through their doors.

Their team created individual looks for each of our models. And just like your wedding day, they will ensure that you look and feel your BEST before you take your walk down the aisle.
And last, but not least, the wedding show stage has to be show ready as well. Thanks to our next show sponsors: Orlando Flower Walls and Atmospheres Floral & Décor our stage was gorgeous.
Orlando Flower Walls provided a silk floral backdrop and a custom made neon I Said Yes! sign that made our runway and stage pop! Orlando Flower Walls’ flower walls look and feel real. Their new sister company: Orlando Neon can create any custom neon sign for your reception or ceremony. Plus you can take it home and continue to use for years to come.
Atmospheres Floral and Décor created 8+ wedding bouquets for our models. Everything from fall inspired bouquets, boho bouquets, rich velvety bouquets and more. Additionally they accessorized our stage with hanging floral pieces. Any backdrop, bouquet, centerpieces you can dream up, Atmospheres can produce!
I Said Yes! FL wedding shows are not complete without our reception/ceremony design galleries. Generally this section of our show is located in the lobby/foyer leading up to the show’s main exhibit area.
We asked Weddings, Inc. to create three different reception table themes. Meanwhile, they enlisted the assistance of Atmosphere’s Floral and Decor, Orlando Wedding Party Rentals and I Rent Everything. They also brought in a decorative hedge wall with a Photobooth and delicious catering samples provided by their sister company John Michaels Events Catering.
Weddings, Inc. has all-inclusive wedding packages to assist you with every detail of your wedding, including planning, décor, catering, venues.

Have you attended several wedding shows already? Or is the upcoming I Said Yes! Wedding Show your first?
Either way, you should know that the best way to make the most of your wedding show is to know what questions you should be asking our wedding pros.
We asked some of our wedding pros what questions they thought were the most important for our couples to ask when attending our show. Continue reading to hear what they pros said.
Andie with The Flower Studio said, “If you don’t ask this question immediately, you might spend all your time speaking with vendors who are already booked on your big day.”
At the same time, if you know where you are getting married, you should follow up with this question:
Do you work with/at my wedding venue?
Richard with Sprinkles Custom Cakes said, “Any reputable business has a clear and concise cancellation policy. Make sure you know what it is before you book with any vendor.”
Also ask to understand the breakdown of their fees and rates. If a vendor seems to be out of your budget, but you’re already in love with their work, ask why you should spend MORE for their services.
Orlando with Press Play Entertainment said, “We love when couples ask us things like, what sets you apart from other DJs or what makes you different from them?”
Don’t be afraid to state the obvious and be straightforward. Allow wedding experts to explain to you why they are the best! Otherwise, you might end up booking a vendor for less money and realize later that the services/products were not just less expensive but less than you expected.
Many vendors will run show only specials that you would not know about if you had not attended our show.
Additionally, this is an extremely important question if you are planning your wedding on a strict budget. Essentially you could book your dream vendor at a price that won’t break the bank.
However, these show specials won’t last. That means your follow up question should be:
What are the stipulations of your show special?
The answer to this question will run the gamut depending on which wedding pro you are speaking to. If you are at the beginning of your wedding planning journey you should put together a time line based on the answers you get. And then book accordingly.
But remember, if you don’t book a wedding pro on show day (or at least book your follow up appointment), their show day special could be gone. See question #4.
Your wedding planning will generally start with choosing a venue and can end with booking your honeymoon. So we’ve added in some bonus questions for both categories of vendors.
Receptions Venues – Knowing the right questions to ask potential wedding venues can save you money and time! You may fall in love with a wedding venue, but they don’t allow you the freedom to choose your wedding day vendors. Or their catering minimum just doesn’t fit into your budget. But the very first question you should be asking the venue is:
Are you available for the wedding date I want?
Additional questions you should ask are:
Is there a catering minimum I must spend?
Is that minimum catering spent IN ADDITION to the venue rental fee?
Do I have to choose our wedding vendors from your list of preferred vendors?
Your Honeymoon – Of course the big questions is:
When should we make our honeymoon reservations?
Tammy with Red Parrot Travel said, “Most brides know that if they want a specific wedding dress that just hit the runway, they need to place that order ASAP, because MOST dresses take 4-6 months to get in. But they don’t know a timeline for booking their honeymoon. As a travel agent I can offer guidance that will save you money. I can tell you when you should be placing deposits, when you should make reservations, the best time to travel, to get married outside of the US, how far out in advance you should be reserving and more.”
In closing, remember that every couple values different experiences and services. They each want a different type of wedding day experience. Therefore, before show day, sit down with your fiancé and make a list of the three most important things for your wedding day.
For some couples it will be the music, food and ambiance. For other couples, wedding transportation, their glam team and their photographer are what’s most crucial to them.
If you figure out what’s most important to you as a couple, the planning process will be much smoother!
We created our I DOs & BREWS wedding planning events in an effort to let mobile wedding services SHINE!
Why are these vendors so special? If you didn’t know, here in Florida we have tons of venues with outside space. Using this type of wedding service means you can get creative with your outside event space.
Additionally, wedding mobile vendors can:
• enhance your wedding, making it even MORE memorable than it already will be
• allow you to have your wedding in a spaces, not originally created for events
• Provide services for your wedding day that your venue cannot provide
There are so many different types of mobile bars to choose from. Each of them have different looks, services, procedures and rules. And one of our favorites is The Yard Bar.
The Yard Bar is different from other mobile bars because you can hire them to set up the bar and leave. This will allow you to serve guests yourselves from their rustic set up. Likewise, you can sign on for a full service experience.
The Yard Bar has the following amenities:
• Commercial Sound System
• Equipped with a generator
• High Top Tables
• U-Shaped Drive
• Wood Bar Stools
• Recessed Lighting and more!
Mobile wedding services can be a wonderful solution to many wedding space issues.
For instance Royal Throne Luxury Restroom Trailers is a mobile VIP restroom trailer. Their trailers can allow your guests to have more than one restroom available to them.
Royal Throne can put you at ease by ensuring on your wedding day:
• there’s not a long wait for the restroom
• you have clean bathroom facilities
• depending on the restroom you choose, you can have AC/heated restrooms
Furthermore, if you want to get married on private property or at your house you can secure the main house by closing it off to guests. Then guests can use your rental trailers instead. Additionally, they offer an add-on restroom attendant.
Another popular mobile choice is a mobile photobooth.
Meet Orlando Photo Bus, a 1971 Volkswagen Bay Window Bus named Lulu. This gal is guaranteed to make you and your guests smile.
Orlando Photobus offers:
• 20” touch screen
• Preview your photos on their touch screen
• Customized prints
• 3 different packages to choose from!
Ultimately you can meet these unique, local mobile wedding experts at our upcoming I DOs & BREWS events. In addition you will meet many more local experts who can offer you something special and different for your big day.
Wedding planning date night – you heard us right. I Said Yes! FL produces several different types of wedding planning events, including I DOs and BREWS™ wedding planning date night. Because we want you to meet local, Florida wedding pros, get inspired and have fun. All while planning your dream wedding.
Traditional wedding shows are fun and they are LARGE, but sometimes wedding shows in a hotel ballroom or convention space aren’t for everyone. That’s why we came up with I DOs and BREWS™.
So why join us for an I DOs and BREWS™… what’s the big deal?
I DOs and BREWS™ wedding planning date night was created over 2 years ago when we began to notice a shift in the Central Florida wedding market. All of a sudden 2 huge changes were occurring.
First, we saw more wedding mobile vendors than ever before. There were mobile wedding bars, such as The Yard Bar. Then mobile DJs, traveling RV salons and Volkswagen photo buses like Orlando Photo Bus. Plus restroom trailers like Royal Throne Luxury Trailers and countless others.
Second, Central Florida began to see breweries pop up everywhere. We were extremely excited to partner with the first brewery to sign on to I DOs & BREWS: Hourglass Brewing. Now, they have been the for a number of our wedding planning date nights.
I DOs & BREWS also features LIVE entertainment! Professional DJs as well as live musicians bring a fun and entertaining element to these events.
Hosting these events outside allows us to have surprises, such as Meg with P.S. I Love You Productions who was dressed to impress in her tuxedo to greet all our attendees!
Our mini design gallery will inspire your wedding day vibe, look and décor. What’s a design gallery? It’s simply an area where Florida wedding planners and/or wedding rental companies can set up different ceremony and/or reception looks for you to browse. Sit at the reception tables, feel the linens, smell the flowers and CHEERS to an ALL AROUND FUN wedding planning date night!
With 50-65 of Florida’s best wedding pros ready to meet you at I DOs & BREWS, you will save time and money while sipping local brews, sampling wedding cake and ENJOY wedding planning!
This is a wedding planning event your fiancé will WANT to attend with you (no dragging or eye rolling involved).
Lastly, be sure to stay until the very end for some amazing giveaways!

Not all wedding expos are created equally. The most noticeable difference between I Said Yes! Wedding Shows and other wedding expos and bridal shows, is that I Said Yes! FL has physically worked alongside or been clients of 90% of the wedding professionals within our events. How is this possible? Let us explain.
Unlike many other show producers, I Said Yes! FL also producer a wedding planning magazine that has recently gone all digital. Flip through the pages of the free e-magazine, any time, any where.
I Said Yes! FL also operates a wedding planning website that is specific to Florida. Therefore, when you browse our website, everything you see is from the very state in which you are currently planning your wedding.
In short, we specialize in the Sunshine State, citrus runs through our veins. #floridalifestyle
The I Said Yes! team also produces our own wedding industry networking events every month. That means that we are working with, and relying on, the very wedding vendors you’re considering for your own special day.
Above all, we can speak to these wedding vendors, specialties and anything else you need to know about our vendors. In fact, ask us about any of the vendors you meet at our show and we will gladly give you insights. Furthermore, many other show producers can’t say the same about their experience working with their exhibitors.
Like many wedding expos and shows, I Said Yes! Wedding Shows also offers the following staples day of:
