Wedding Dresses Orlando are off-the-rack at the latest bridal gown fashion show, presented by The Bridal Finery. Chiefly created to introduce Central Florida Wedding Vendors to the latest trending styles in wedding dresses. For this reason, the team at I Said Yes! was invited to experience this exciting and moody fashion show.
The owners of The Bridal Finery said this year’s styles have a romantic feel. Therefore they infused the show with moody blacks and red roses for a spin on the classic black tie wedding. Adding to that some trendy gold accents. Further softening the stage with white florals and soft greens. Subsequently balancing the dark and light sides of this romantic theme and bringing a modern and edgy vibe.
In fact, the delicate and decadent desserts by Bakers Cottage Cakes also reflected the theme. Certainly can’t go without mentioning the cherries accented with gold flake. And especially the 3 tier black wedding cake on display.
Assuredly these wedding dresses wow’d the guests as they waltzed down the runway. Starting with simple and chic. Next over the top with lace and light weight bridal wraps, reminiscent of the 90’s. Finally ending with some Hollywood Glam. Admittedly we wish we were wedding dress shopping after seeing all these stunning designs.
Of course each model was also adorned with wedding accessories. For example, hair pieces, earrings and veils.

As a little girl, Chelsea dreamed about a big, beautiful wedding. Complete with a gorgeous wedding dress. Most importantly, a sparkling cathedral veil. As a result, she ordered a custom veil from Sorelle Vita Couture. In fact, Sorelle Vita Couture says, the wedding veil is one of the most, if not the most, important bridal accessory to wear on your wedding day. It adds the extra special touch that transforms you from a beautiful woman in a beautiful dress to a beautiful bride.
Michael and Chelsea were married on January 31, 2021 in St. Augustine, FL. Moreover it was the last night of St. Augustine’s famous “Nights of Lights“. Therefore the town was beautifully lit up and created a stunning backdrop for this dream wedding exit. Chelsea says it was “the perfect blend of elegance and winter wonder”. Additionally, the ceremony and reception took place inside The Treasury on the Plaza. Further adding to the dreamy elements of this wedding with the classic details of the 100-year-old art-deco era building.
The happy couple said the venue was a bridal dream. That is to say, it offers state of the art event features while simultaneously maintaining the historic charm of one of St. Augustine, FL’s prized landmarks. Chelsea cried when she walked through the doors of the private reception room reveal. Speaking of crying, how touching is the groom crying when he sees his beautiful bride for the first time walking down the aisle.
According to the bride, planning a wedding during a pandemic was challenging and emotionally draining at times. That is to say, feeling uncertain about last minute guest cancellations. Then questioning how months of distance planning would come together. Indeed loosing sleep at night. Further Chelsea says, somehow, the wedding coordinator and the entire Treasury Team found a way to make us feel so special. Our bridal party and guests were made to feel safe and the venue made it possible for everyone to briefly forget the craziness of the pandemic for one perfect, magical evening.
The cathedral wedding veil was very important to this special bride. As aforementioned, it was part of her childhood dream. We cannot end this blog without again showing off this stunning custom veil and sharing Chelsea’s touching words. “11 months of planning and agonizing over little details transformed into something more enchanting than I ever could have imagined. There are no words, I’m still speechless.”

Celebrate love and history with a wedding at a historic Florida wedding venue. For example, one of Florida’s first “attractions” was The Citrus Tower. Built in 1956 on one of the highest hills in Florida. This observation tower rises 226 feet into the sky. Offering stunning views, rich history and classic Florida charm. Therefore it is the perfect backdrop for your wedding.
This styled shoot was created and designed by Seas Your Day Events. The inspiration came from the theme – Citrus Luxe. To sum it up, they married the Old Florida charm with a modern elegant flair. In addition, they partnered with some local Clermont wedding professionals to further celebrate the connection to the community. For instance, the photographers of PB&J Studios. Who beautifully captured the charm and nostalgia of this venue.
Take your wedding reception to new heights. That is to say, welcome your guests to the Citrus Tower Observation deck. Soaring 22 stories above the ground, your guests will have a panoramic view of Lake County, FL. First the rolling hills of Florida’s ridge section. And then the hundreds of spring-fed lakes.
Celebrate love and history by throwing back to the days of orange groves. For example, serve citrus themed food and dessert. Similarly, decorate this charming historic venue with citrus hues and green foliage. To sum it up you will feast your eyes on the views and the food.
This styled shoot highlighted the versatility and nostalgia only a true Florida landmark could achieve. Most importantly, the shoot embodied the unique elegance of a historical Florida wedding venue. But also the fun that comes with bringing individual couples’ dreams to life.
For instance, you can end your day with some video game fun and friendly competition in the arcade located on the first floor. And don’t forget your sparkler exit.

We are so excited to share with you this behind the scenes look at our recent I Said Yes! FL Wedding Magazine cover shoot. A group of really talented Central Florida wedding experts came together and made some beautiful art to grace our cover.
The location: The Maitland Art Center, Maitland’s own National Historic Landmark. The Art Center is one of the few surviving examples of “Mayan Revival” or fantasy architecture in the Southeast. In turn it is one of the main reasons it was named the first National Historic Landmark in the four-county area of Central Florida.
Amanda with For The Love of Events partnered with the photo and video team PB & J Studios. They worked closely to come up with the theme for this Summer/Fall wedding magazine cover shoot.
“The team was looking for an edgy boho concept, which is how the Art & History Museum came into the mix as our venue of choice.” said Amanda
Working with All Brides 2 Be to dress the brides and grooms was important to Amanda. They offer a one stop shop for wedding gowns and men’s attire. As well as size appropriate options that look beautiful on all types of brides.
Add in Laura Reynolds Artistry team of hair and make up experts and you’ve got a group of happy models.
To portray an edgier vibe the talented vendors involved incorporated specific elements that fit the look.
The colored floral from In Bloom Florist brought depth and beauty to the design. Additionally, the darker tablescape pieces from EventWorks added the perfect touches.
Morgan Hunter Desserts was able to match the design of the cake to the floral with ease. Cake designers are true artists!
The stationary and signage from Tortoise Designs provided a fun balance. The adorable earrings provided from Honeymoon Clay Co are perfect for any edgy bride on her wedding day.

Recently we received an email from our friend Erica Brillant Trunk, owner of Solutions Bridal. She was so excited to tell us all about her brand new Plus Size Wedding Dresses division.
“Size inclusivity is something that is very important to us here at Solutions Bridal. We noticed that there was a need for more representation when it came to plus size brides in Florida. And so we decided to take it a step further” said Trunk.
As a result, Limitless by Solutions Bridal was born. Launching in September 2020!
This division will be represented by a “shop within a shop” located right inside their existing bridal salon.
Solutions has picked up a new line specifically for this division, Studio Levana. This line has no sizing. Dresses are made to measure and fit your unique requirements. Your dress is uniquely you.
Additionally, they have partnered with some of their other designers who have also agreed to offer their gowns made to measure. This includes Estee Couture, Tara Latour and LoAdoro, making their sizing options Limitless.
“We want every bride, no matter her size, to be able to walk into our store and have the amazing bridal shopping experience they deserve” said Trunk
While the shop won’t launch until September 2020, you can follow them on instagram at @limitless__sb for the latest updates on this amazing new division of Plus Size Wedding Dresses.
