Create A Charitable Wedding In Honor Of Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global celebration of generosity. Singularly the opportunity for people around the world to come together through generosity in all its forms. That is to say, by sharing acts of kindness and giving of themselves. From their voice and time, to money, goods and advocacy. However, it doesn’t have to end on Giving Tuesday. Create a charitable wedding and share the love of your wedding day with those in need. Every small step makes a big difference.

How To Get Started

Start by choosing a need or charitable organization that is meaningful to you and your fiancé. Second, find an organization that you can support. It can be nationally focused, or in your own community.  Last, add the information to your wedding website or include it in your invitation.  Above all, let your special day make another person’s day brighter.

Further, allow your wedding guests to be a part of the cause. For instance, consider adding a link to a charity organization with-in your registry. Similarly, make your gift registry directly to the charity, in lieu of gifts.

You can also find ways to donate your wedding dress and flowers. Or rent a venue run by a non-profit. In the same vein, start your bachelor or bachelorette party out by volunteering at a local organization.

On this giving Tuesday, consider these for your wedding

By creating a charitable wedding, you create the opportunity to touch the lives of others in the name of love. Assuredly this is not a complete list. However it is a place to help you find a way to support a charity and share the love from your wedding day. Certainly you can chose one of these organizations, or use it as an idea starter. Whatever you choose, thank you for making a positive impact on another person’s life.
